KCD1 players who will not buy KCD2

I guess Warhorse think all KCD1 players will buy KCD2 so they are safe but I'm pretty sure there is a massive number of KCD1 players passing KCD2 due to numerous issues going on with KCD2.

My profile is open to public, you can see KCD1 is one of few games I've put about 100 hours. Yes KCD1 was always an underrated gem, almost the only good game with Medieval Bohemian setting and immersion level was amazing but at the end of the day it's not worth the principles. Vavra's childish attitude, the transparency about DEI agenda killed my all hype for the sequel. I'm also disappointed with Sir Tobi, Hans Capon's VA Luke and some other guys too. They all hid what was going on from the players and pushed the PR only.

I was so ready to get the gold edition but now I'm passing KCD2 for good.

Then don't buy it. But here's the thing the people such as yourself only made change when united. The majority of the anti-woke do not view things this way so hope you are content with the fact that your voices, being small, will not have an impact and your fight against the woke falls apart. At some point you're going to have to decide which is more important, to cling to extremism which is what it is when nitpicking over something small, or understand that there are better hills to die on.

Let's have an experiment.

Devs decided to go all in on historical accuracy and added an option for you to rape any woman you talk to.
In every dialogue with a woman there is an option to rape her.
Sometimes there is more than one.
Let's mirror first peaceful encounter with Halsin in bg3 for a proper comparison - with one woman you have 5 different options on how to rape her at the top of the dialogue menu, and you have to actually scroll down to reach the normal dialogue.

How would that make you feel? It's optional though just ignore it haha.

The logistics would be unfeasible (good luck getting such a game rated and released), but if you could do literally anything you wanted, no matter how immoral (I can think of a few things worse than being a serial rapist) then that'd be obvious a good thing for player agency in a roleplaying game.

Every single time, without fail. Not even once. When a company decides to go down the woke route for some reason, their games turn to crap. The quality in the game is just lowered and it's riddled with bugs, the story isn't well made or it just. is. not. good.

I've taken this off my wishlist because of all this crap. I know they are going to be feeling this on release. Like most games that do this too, they aren't going to earn nearly as much money as they would have if they just didn't go woke. sad

I don't think they are stupid, they knew infecting woke virus into their game would cost losing costumers and Vavra definitely lies, they can't do such stupity without getting some nice ammount of ESG money but it won't save their loss. This game is still so niche, combat still is not for 90% of mainstream gamers. Most of the ppl got hyped cos biggest GG2 Youtubers, even Asmongold pimped this game for months. There were millions of ppl thinking this is the pure Anti-DEI game and that clown Vavra is the Prophet. It all turned out totally opposite lol. The trust Warhorse lost will be their undoing, but they don't realize it yet.

I played 327 hours of the first game and loved it. I will not buy the second one. They have ruined it for me by pandering to woke activists. Its bad enough every damn year I need to do fng diversity and inclusion training I don't need the same lecture for smug over paid activists making my video games. Got it free on Epic. Put around 20+ hours into it. Highly impressed. Since I don't buy games on Epic or spend any money there I came to Steam and bought it and all the DLC. Put another 108 hours into it with intent to come back to it for more.

I may still buy this sequel... but we're literally talking only at a 90% discount. I have a rule about games that dabble in this stuff. Alternatively, like the original, it may come free to Epic. Unlike the original I wont be buying the DLC on Steam.

Vavra made VERY specific statements on things he wouldn't do. He can claim all he wants that going back on those statements is artistic / creative freedom, but I know what companies he's working for and there is a higher than 0% chance that influence was applied to get him to 'diversify' the sequel. If he truly did it without influence, he's highly unintelligent as he should have an inkling of the current culture and how sick people are of forced diversity and 'sexuality'.

Some on the anti-woke side will put up with a bit of woke nonsense. They don't have much choice if they want AAA modern games... this 'stings' a whole lot more, despite being comparatively less, because he was supposedly on our side.

Waiting for discount is always a good choice. I got kcd pretty cheap too, mostly i waited because of the bugs at release. KCD2 are apparently much more optimized, and i took a chance this time. Looking good!
