I feel confident that players who are women don't think Henry is them.
Meaning that he has a set past, set role in society from start, set look, personality and so forth.. But he is playershaped in terms of smaller events (Do you support peasant 1 or 2) (Do you like love interest A or B or None) (Do you want to comiit crimes?) etc.. but the overall character and story is set.
As for the sexuality (if that is what you talk about) Henry have always been somewhat playersexual (meaning you decide) albeit the first game showcased (in scenes) him as a rather... happy teenager when it comes to starring at apples.
That is not what the OP ask.
Ie. You can in some cases make your own backstory, pick your personality, how you look, etc etc... that is you making a complete role, maybe you are placed in a scneario, but the character is yours.
But you can also have set characters (think about many action adventures) where the character is already a specific personality, looks a specific way, in this case you still play a role (obviously) but the role is set, you have no agency..
Often a voiced protagonist means you have less agency.
don't give the devs more ideas
You tell me if that sounds like a competent honest community manager, or someone who was sent here for damage control.
he used to be an established character because they didn't have budget
now he is you, because they have budget.
They started taking Embracer ESG money in exchange for mandated DEI quotas. Literally.
