Is KCD2 actually woke?

From my understanding there is a black character (apparently possible ~1403 Bohemia although EXTREMELY rare) that claims women are treated better (they might actually believe it but it is obviously false).
There is also the option of Henry to be gay/bi but its completely optional similar to BG3.

If the above makes a game woke then games like the first Fable by definition is woke as well, but no one gave a damn back then and it was in general considered a good game.

I think the 'woke virus' has gone a bit overboard, the only real argument is the director claiming Henry is straight during KCD1 and now did a bit of a switcheroo..

I am against garbage like Concord/Dragon Age Veilguard and all that slop, but I don't think this title is 1 of them?

In short no. There is a player option for gay relationship but it's up to the player. So in that sense it's like Skyrim so if you think Skyrim is woke this woke by that sence. Same goes for mass effect. It's all player choice and not forced so no it's not woke.

Don't know why they did it either but it doesn't bother me since i will play Henry straight. But i guess it's there for people who don't or just want to get an idea of it.

No, footage proves beyond a shadow of a doubt there is no DEI agenda in this game.
You couldn't even make up a red flag with a vivid imagination because the game leans the opposite way. It goes against the DEI mind set.

Fable,Concord, and veilgaurd wernt going for realisim, so they can have their DEI and fail openly.
But,
KCD2 decided to secretly hide their DEI and got caught.
This game was going towards realism and even decided to contradict what happen in the 1st game.Like making Henry gay out of no where. Such dumb making decision.

Vavra did indeed say that looking at some screenshots and there was a sudden change in mind.. Might be onto something, might request refund for now and just see how it plays out.

Its definitely overblown but that's because people are hyper cautious at this point about identity politics, and KCD2 was supposed to be free from it all.

Personally i don't know if i would call it a woke product per se but the company, for whatever reason, seems to have taken on a shade of woke yeah. Not only emphasising how he was a "white straight male" but things like "Bohemia had no black people, period" too etc.

Basicallly i think its this that really bothers people its a clear change in mindset that has effected their established product for the purposes of pandering, not necessarily the inherent existence of a gay romance or whatever.
