Exactly! Hardcore is a bit more difficult in combat, coz your stamina is worse, but generally it's not about higher difficulty but about better immersion. It's a 10x better experience if you're looking for immersion in KCD first and foremost.
Nothing matches the experience of going into a KCD map blind on HC...
Games ruined by UI IMO

That the first game released without hardcore mode shouldn't be any excuse for releasing the sequel without it if that's what you're implying. We who played KCD1 on hardcore have that experience and naturally the desire to experience KCD2 in the same fashion. This dilemma didn't exist when KCD1 released.
Whether it ends up being a month extra waiting time or as per springs definition, it could be as late as June. It is either way a very big disappointment to me and those who have been excited and kept February 4th in mind.
