What makes me a bit angry with the right is that they will deny gender is a social construct but will not accept homosexuality isn’t. Gays existed in the 1400’s Obviously. So why is it a problem.

I would have thought getting hammered and having an orgy with Priest Godwin in kcd1 would be more of an issue.

The worse part is the betrayal, hell i supported the first game when it was first announced on Patreon, long, long before release, helped with the Beta tests and such.
Recomended the hell of the game, got at least 4 ppl to buy it when it was first released, as it was a realistic but still fun medieval game, and the creators stuck to their guns against woke stuff.
But well, ESG money, fine, will request a refund, you win, old games is the way, at least i save with upgrades on the computer lol

I highly doubt there are many purely heterosexual people out there. I'm pretty sure most are bisexual to some degree, with most suppressing their gay side. However, as you can see in real freakin' life that side reveals itself quite often when people who claim to be purely "heterosexual" are drunk, high, in prison or in any other circumstance that differs from their normal, everyday life.

Yeah its a completely unnecessary change given the setting and the fact that character was already well established BUT imo its still not enough to label the game as "woke".
It takes more than that to be woke imo much more and unless there'll be some actual bs political messaging shoved down our throats like female war commanders, some Brianne of Tarth bs or other crap then it'll be acceptable.

Ofc. Daniel Vavra shouldnt make the comments he made but i still believe in this guy's passion for the game - why? Because i played the first game and i know how good and authentic it was. That alone gives me a lot of faith in this guy.

Just chill out and wait for the release then make your judgement.
Dont act like all those leftists who call everyone nazi or alt-right in an instant because right now you're acting the same way labeling it Woke for very few reasons.

Imagine going to play Heroes of Might and Magic 3 and having "The Gay town!" or whatever

Its ok, i am a mass effect fan, no worries having options there, as well as on BG3, great!

But on a game about medieval Bohemia it must be treated as it was on KCD1, as something odd, despicable even, just like it was in real life at that point, as Henry reacts with disgust

The issue is that once "the head" is in, the rest will follow quickly. It is how it starts, the integrity has failed, the rest will come soon
