They've been stealth deleting my posts. Including, conviently, the one that called out their mod for attacking customers on another thread. And deleted my post here on this thread, which broke no rules, yet only endorsed the 'two modes' idea suggested by the OP.
And let the guy's antagonists spew vicious insults, in direct violation of the rules outlined in their new forum guidelines.
Dirty, dirty, dirty fighting.
Well now I at least know who I'm dealing with.
Listen to me, my foolish friend - you cannot delete people who break no rules, just because they make your company look grimy and heavy-handed. Because that's what you are isn't it, with your slimy little tricks.
I'll just create a backup of my posts from now on. You stealth-delete them - I'll know, then restore. Continue the dirty behaviour, and I'll contact Steam support. Get even more underhanded - and I'm sure you will - and I've been down that road before with Veilguard and co. You'll just be exposed elsewhere on the platform.
No one is on the side of a community mod who abuses their powers.
Luckily I've good memory and will be back again tomorrow to restore the text I wrote here that you maliciously deleted.
TLDR: I have every right to express support for the idea articulated in the OP's post. Just because you're uncomfortable with being 'called out' as a villain and con-artist doesn't mean you can just sweep that under the carpet.
please touch grass
You didn't even play KC:D1.
Go away, there are plenty of dei games out there for you already.
The fact your all so worked up over this is insane. We all know once your 5mins of attention is gone your going to buy and play the game anyway. Why let this ruin your day?. 1 lore backed coloured guy and yal start burning crosses!. Learn about the Holy Roman Empire and you will see 1 black guy in the game isn't a civil rights movement at the expense of gameplay. And as for a side quest of gayness... just choose to be a straight character and you will see no gayness. Its really simple... your upset over something you aren't going to see. That's pure Autism guys. 🤣 Lifes too short, just chill out and enjoy the game, it will be great.
- Owned games 0
- No mouse next to your name for KCD2 purchase
ok buddy.
unironically using the term normie
once again asking people if the concept of owning games on other platforms does not exist to them
2025 has started out as the Year of the Guillotine for the gaming industry. There’s no ‘edginess’ here. The only edge was in the blade that severed Bioware’s head at the last EA meeting, along with the career of its art director.
The faceless suits who enforce this activism on entertainment do not even care about the activism. They care about the power trip. The power over artists, to control the art, for a price.
Don Corleone had all the judges and politicians in his pocket, ‘like so many nickels and dimes’. The ESG suits think they control all the artists and journalists in the industry.
‘Repeat ‘back to form’ in all reviews of Veilguard. You will hail it as a masterpiece and the scores must all be in the 7-10 range. Bonus cash for each extra point. Gamers are so stupid, they’ll lap it up and we’ll all be rich’.
The bribery didn’t work out, did it?
I predict at least a 10% drop in overall sales due to the ESG contrivances. But this studio deserves Bioware’s fate for even one contrivance. If you take the money once, you’ll take it again. It’s a slippery slope and new houses and cars are a lot more appealing than artistic merit.
Yet people clearly buy this game for the writing.
An artist who takes money to politicise their art, even for one scene, is not an artist - it is a puppet. Vavra, clearly, is as two-faced as it gets: initially giving such people the middle-finger and now suddenly ‘all-in’ on the woke.
The OP’s suggestion of two game modes is sane and fair for both the woke crowd and the anti-woke crowd. I’ve made the same suggestion as far back as BG3, where the ‘everyone’s bi’ mechanism for the companions utterly undid any narrative integrity their characters might have had.
It’s a nonsense for those so sex-obsessed that they can’t engage with a story outside of wanting to bang the non-existent fictional character. To me it’s a perversion, whether from one side or the other. But the kind of writers who endorse it are not writers at all - care nothing for the craft, are hacks, talentless, spineless and only in it for the cash, however it might arrive.
Two game modes. One dedicated to activism and fantasy wish-fulfillment for the small audience who clamours for it. The other that is free of it.
While you say ‘no’ now, as do your investor overlords, you will soon have to say ‘yes’, because unfortunately you will not see customer money if you don’t ‘compromise’. And that’s what your investors really want.
Think of your future. How bleak it looks now.
The Japanese and Chinese game markets, as well as ‘free indies’, will soon wipe you out if you don’t change track.
calm down little brother its not that deep
Do they all just parrot 'it's not that deep' when they read 'dah big words' that they can't counter?
You people need a new soundbite little dude.
Because unfortunately it was indeed 'that deep' for EA, unless you missed the press release .
I tell you what - you should contact them and tell them the press release 'isn't that deep'. They were overthinking all those failures.
Come back to me and let me know how that one goes mate.
it's not that deep little brother, calm down.
This is what happens you forget how to think critically - one-liner soundbites from the book of 'too much internet' cliches: 'touch grass', 'it's not that deep'.
Either invent something new or actually engage with the material for a change.
It's sticks and stones to me and I'll just keep using my brain. It's taken me very far in life, cheers.
They do all the work for you. I love it lmao.
