He was a staunch advocate for slavery. So... if that's the representation you want...
There are in fact black people in Europe at this time, the Moors had just been kicked out of Spain and Portugal but still a good number remained, there was forced conversation to Christianity in 1502.
Black musicians seem to be particularly priced and may paintings of the period have them. The Moors were considered to have great medical knowledge and even by the 1500s they would still be hired by European nobility, although they'd be expensive so you minor nobility would be out of luck.
And mercenaries would often work for a noble and like and be liked and join with a army.
We found one of Henry the 8ths elite men at arms was in fact African when we studied the DNA, which was a huge shock because he was an elite archer and we would have assumed he would have been British ( as everyone knows we are the best archers in the world, if you are from Mongolia you do not have permission to speak!)
If the game has 100s of African people then I'll take issue, as this is not a fantasy game but a few is certainly not unrealistic.
The OP is probably in on it, too. Good effort.
Do you think Morrocans and Algerians are black?
Moors were arab not black.
