Will i like this game when i didnt enjoyed the first game?
Didnt understood the first game. Like i was a guy who got trashtalked by everyone and was ♥♥♥♥ in everything he did. So i played it only like 2 hours. Since it felt like the game was limiting me in everything and fun shouldnt be allowed. So i wanna know if i it is something like the first game or not.

It is like the first game. No. You will not enjoy it.

Why would you think otherwise?

Obviously not.
maybe they changed something idk. Game devs do that often
A simple search you CBA'd to do would've answered the question. This thread comes across like signaling your dislike of the prior game. Your excuse for posting it comes across as insincere.

Are you just signaling how you didn't like the first game?

Well, Henry was a villager and refugee, not high on the ladder of a medieval city society (refugees < citizens < merchants and other rich people < nobles).
The combat should be a bit easier with less directions to attack from.
It was worth it playing the game, for me. Certainly not a typical "zero to hero saving the world" game (and that won't change) and playing on different strings than other RPG games (reason why it couldn't find a publisher during early development).

And if you played it for like 2 hours, you hardly got out of the initial village into the open world and sure, that village was very limited in what you could do.

You obviously didn't like the skill progression system and didn't like that you don't play a hero of legend. This is not the game for you, Henry is not the last Dragonborn.

EDIT: Did you even make it to Rattay in two hours? Did you try to fend of the invasion army on your own?

Probably not. This is KCD but bigger and improved in all aspects.
But if you diden't like the first i doubt this will change anyting.

2 hours...? Yeah you're not meant to be Jonny Dragonborn the all powerfull doom slayer and you won't be this time, so yeh stick to Bethesda games. Or actually train, experience the game, learn!!!!! and enjoy a game that makes you RP as a human, not a demi god.

It's pretty much an updated, streamlined and more epic version of the first game, so it's gonna be pretty similar. As they said : they didn't reinvent the wheel. That being said, you played only two hours and this is barely enough time to finish the prologue which plays quite differently from the rest of the game since at that point your character is supposed to be a peasant who doesn't have any combat skills
I loved the first one but I did quit in frustration. I spent a long time repeatedly trying to win a large scale battle...and I finally did! But once I finally did it was immediately followed by a one on one battle and I spent more time trying to beat that one but couldn't. I realized that it's likely my character just wasn't advanced enough for me to win. So I would have to find a previous save and go back and level up my character more and after all that effort I was so frustrated with it all that I quit.

How strongly would people suggest that I go back and finish the first one before I play this one or should it be OK to just continue on with the sequel so I can enjoy all the goodness coming from their bigger team and budget?
Only you can answer that, but my guess you be no

the first one is good and if you still own it I'd recommend finishing it ... just go to Bernard and train up, pick the weapon type you want to use and get up to level 3 with it (axes are balanced, swords less effective against plate armor, maces crush plate but have the shortest reach), then have Bernard teach you master strikes ... makes combat less frustrating.

Ok thanks for the suggestion. I think I might do that. So training with Bernard increases in-game skill level or is that just to make me as a player better? Edit: I re-read what you wrote and you already explained that :P Thanks again!

who on earth would they change such a fantastic game?
go play the first one again in a few years when you are older.
Anyone in doubt and gave the first game a try, go watch the videos on YouTube. There is plenty on there now to help make up your mind.

But ultimately I'd say if you really have a distaste for KCD1, then you shouldn't buy KCD2 as you won't like that one either.

Maybe go get Skyrim SE and Mod the heck out of it.
bruh Jan 9 @ 2:51am
sorry bro, you better off buying something else, alot of releases on february so you might find something else.
