I said the next game, not KCD 1 vs KCD 2. By the way, KCD 2 is way better as a game. From what I hear, KCD 1 is cluncky as heck.
"From what I hear"
So your wrong-pinion is wrong, thanks for confirming.
yeah like the rest of the internet = from what I hear
The next game in the franchise should return to the KCD1 narrative and gameplay formulas - fewer "unexpected" plot tropes, less lame CryEngine's action, fewer 5x5 "epic battles", a more immersive world, more side activities, e.t.c.
If the game were to take place in Vienna, Jindřich should learn German for the first half of the game by drinking with locals (the German language skill will be fulfilled based on the side quests) and trying to buy some enterprise to have some cover. It would be perfect if there were only one plot fight, with Erick - Chief guard of King Vaclav - at the very end of the game. And the whole plot would be a spy game like Metal Gear Solid.
I don't know about oversimplification from what I am hearing from the real reviewrs about KCD 2. I don't think I can agree with that if you want to compare this game to the likes of Monster Hunter World that is way less optimized with way more grinding.
I don't even know the title called "Monster Hunter World". And I'm not like you - I never discuss the subject I know nothing about.
Well let me say this about monster hunter world or wilds or the name of that latest Capcom title that I wanted to point out. The title really doesn't mean ♥♥♥♥ since we all know in what context I am speaking of and to include what games to argue with to maintain the current discussion.
I don't divide rpgs by fine lines. RPGs are RPGS as much as the 1 vs 1 fights are like
in the Street Fighter franchise. Point being, if you wanna point out all the negativity about KCD 2, you are hardly going to hit the threshold of what makes or breaks KCD 2 as an RPG game..
RPG mechanics are just a method of simulating character growth and polivariativity. They are not needed in linear games, where you get established character. If you don't like games just because they are polivariative and have dynamic characters' properties, there are tons of games made for you in the last 30 years.
I like RPG games, and you never stated your problem with them until post #10. So, I didn't know about your issues.
KCD 2 has too much narrative but that doesn't make the game bear any less relevancy compared to KCD 1. - That is my conclusion. As a game, KCD 2 is way better RPG.
I mean , i explained that KCD 2 does not lack RPG elements as a game, just a whole lot of narratives that gets in the way of gameplay which I do hope the Warhammer or whatever their name is can improve on on 3 if they ever get that far in the series.
Is that too hard to understand for you?
"Me = The rest of the internet"
Meanwhile, back in reality, you = you, and no one else.
uh huh, u are the rest of the internet. that's where your narcissism as a gay character comes into play
It couldn't be so even by formal criteria. One of the formal criteria of RPG is polivariativity. KCD2 has less polivariativity in comparison with KCD1. While KCD1 has only 25-30% of unpolivariative quests, KCD2 has 25-30% of polivariative quests. And many of the options are delivered so badly that you couldn't find them without guides.
You keep your arguments together only in post #12. And I appreciate it - thank you, good sir.
