Finger of God Quest Bug

I am unable to progress past the Finger of God quest due to a bug when trying to get into the cabin to sleep. It prompts me to lockpick the door and when I try to do that the lockpick animation runs in place. I have done all the side missions and even loaded back to previous save files and still cant get into the cabin. It wont let me sleep in any other beds to progress the story. Hardlocked at a game that I am really enjoying is a huge buzzkill.

same problem with you. I cant not open the door and sleep. i cant play anymore since i stuck in this quest. i try to reload the save . But it cant not help

if you don't have the sense to make multiple save files. And you constantly save over one file then you almost deserve a corrupt save. Theres always a risk for corrupt data and glitches in dozens of games. hope this helped.

This. I had a mod the fecked up my crap. Getting rid of it helped. ALSO I am not sure if this would work but try to verify game through steam.
