ive tried with 3 diffrent types of dresses, both common ones and ones labeled "noble". yet she still calls it rags. which kind of dress does she want?

I had this too.Under the pants (I think) there is a column of cloths for men and woman that can not be worn by us the player. I wish I remembered the name, but you wills see they are different. They are folded near instead of appearing front forward.

that one should work i guess the quest is bugged then for you, maybe try the common troubleshooting methods or reload on older save and see if that works

Just a guess, but maybe it has to be repaired first if you found it damaged out in the wild.

just had the same issue, she wants a specific color of the noblewomens cotehardie but never actually tells you what color that is lol. i want to say it was the yellow, id suggest just grabbing 2-3 dif colors and trying each one and it should work eventually

it is the Tyrol brocade cotehardie, you can get it from Bartoshek the tailor in Troskowitz.

You go to the tailor in Troskowitz and purchase (or steal?) the "red cotehardie of Tyrolean brocade". It is a specific, quest item... as explained in your journal, in addition to the conversation you had with the miller.

Might be a problem of the localization you are using. In the german localization it is exactly said what kind of dress and that it should be red.

Ok so I spent a long while researching this currently she will only accept one dress and it's the RED one labled Noble Woman's Cotehadie. The only place i could find the red one is in Miskowitz. I just did this mission and it worked.
