Question About Lion Crest set
I've tried finding an answer to this question here but I couldn't so I'm gonna ask. Will the DLC be made available for those who did not pre-order the game? I would love to have the set even if it is at a later date.

Yes it will, but honestly you don't need it, you get better items already on the first map.
If you don't care about items, but simply want to solve riddles, then okay.

the pre order dlc (warhorse armor) for KCD1 became available to buy sometime after launch so i assume it will be the same with the lion crest dlc

well i mean its a quite unique looking armor which might be another reason for wanting it
If you stream on twitch, I guess it is kinda musthave to show off before second map with another goodlooking (but much better) armor set awaits.
If not... I wouldn't bother.

It's the best armor on 1st map, didn't find anything better except a slightly better helm
Weapon is meh tho

Yeah, I love the design of it, plus I am more than happy to support the DEVs since this one really appears to be one of the best Historical RPGs on the market.

😂 No.
Do the robbed wagon for Blacksmith quest, then find Gules at Semine walls guarding, rob better stuff from him.
IIRC cpt Robert later in Trosky has an even better chainmail to steal from him, but I deleted my first playthrough saves so can't recheck now.

I loved the set, even considered a mod that upgrades it so you can still use on 2nd map.
You can get it with console commands, even the catpurse outfit. Its pretty cool and if you are still early game why not.

But as others have said, you get much better gear stat wise on the kuttengerg map. NONE of the armor looks better then the Brunswick armor.

Ok, I didn't count armor you can get by stealing from "good" NPC, only the ones buyable or lootable on enemies
Yup, it's the best amour on the first map without stealing. It's a very good set.
