If you don't care about items, but simply want to solve riddles, then okay.
If not... I wouldn't bother.
It's the best armor on 1st map, didn't find anything better except a slightly better helm
Weapon is meh tho
Yeah, I love the design of it, plus I am more than happy to support the DEVs since this one really appears to be one of the best Historical RPGs on the market.
Do the robbed wagon for Blacksmith quest, then find Gules at Semine walls guarding, rob better stuff from him.
IIRC cpt Robert later in Trosky has an even better chainmail to steal from him, but I deleted my first playthrough saves so can't recheck now.
You can get it with console commands, even the catpurse outfit. Its pretty cool and if you are still early game why not.
But as others have said, you get much better gear stat wise on the kuttengerg map. NONE of the armor looks better then the Brunswick armor.
Ok, I didn't count armor you can get by stealing from "good" NPC, only the ones buyable or lootable on enemies
