There is a reason why people wear armor into battle.
In combat you should use whatever you like. It is not win/lose state, it's just your choice.
Unlike stealth where chainmail is too noisy to backstab anyone without being detected.
Yeah. And whenever you wear the platelegs that don't include foot-coverings, you can wear your own boots in order to benefit from the Seven-League shoes perk. Even in full plate armor, you can sprint everywhere once you have those perks lol.
👍
A good helmet, plate armor and plate arm protection is all i use.
My speech charisma speed all 30 while conspicuousness 33 noise 33 and visibility 26.
This setup makes it very easy to disengage fast when needed against multiple enemies and also stealthy enough to pick off enemies with my crossbow.
The right overcoat, shoes, and jewelry can give you max charisma without being too conspicuous while wearing full plate armor.
I still run a Saxon Kettle Helmet even during the endgame. Having ta visor is not such a game-changer that it's required.
With this setup i still only have conspicuousness 33 noise 33 and visibility 26 giving me more options on how to play against multiple enemies.
Helmet is the most critically needed piece of armor followed by a neck coif and a breastplate because most enemy strikes hit either your upper chest or neck area.
