Does removing -devmod turn off all console commands?
I was playing around with console commands and was wondering removing the '-devmode' turns off the console commands. If not, how do you reset them to their defaults? Thanks!

What do you mean? reset what to default? if you just mean "If i remove -devmode from launch parameters will it stop console commands working" if that is your question, then ask yourself this, did console commands work before you added that to the launch parameters?
why did you add it to the launch parameters?

More importantly if you have such a basic knowledge of how to use a PC, why are you doing things you clearly know nothing about?
Do you know the answer or not. There's no reason to be a ♥♥♥♥. Go grab a cup of coffee and relax. I used the console to change the visibility distance for a mission, but have no idea what the original parameter was. I'm asking if there is a way to reset the commands to their defaults, or does removing the '-devmode' turn off any console commands used. And yes, I've done this before in other games and know a bit about it, but every game is different.

Is there a way to make the game not open console commands? I don't want to mess with them and sometimes I accidentally press the shortcut.
I don't know but I would imagine that some parameters are put in the save file or a cfg file somewhere and so they'd have to be actively changed back.

Have you tried it? Sounds like you have little to lose and if it doesn't work you are still in the position of needing to find the original parameter and change back.

I haven't used the console on mine so all my stuff is default. Which command were you using? I could check the same on mine and report back if it shows the default value.

Good luck finding a solution champ, i do know the answer and so should you before you started doing things you have no idea about, it is simple, if you don't know what you are doing, don't do it.
Ha right... You have no idea what the answer is. You're a 0 level Steam troll and that's it.

Thanks for the help. This is much better than that other douche bag's response.

I tried using -devmode but I couldn't even bring up the console, also Reggie is clearly superior to everyone hence his hostility towards asking questions, I bet he never asked a question once in his life.
My console command opens without any launch options. I'm guessing devmode doesn't change that?
