Slight disappointment about helmets
As mentioned.

As with the first game, I am slightly disappointed with the available options for closed helmets in this game (at least so far, scraping the barrel of the first map)

Mostly, While I apreciate having the option to open or close the visor on a helmet in combat, I feel the default of showing henry with visor down in conversations is mildly annoying.

And it already was so, in the first game. I feel WH missed an opportunity for improvement, here.

I am not a programmer, but I do not expect it to be all that difficult to program a default open helmet for conversations. After all, Henry takes off his gloves every time he washes

There are only 6ish helmets with visor and they all default on open visors in dialogues/cutscenes.

There is a mod on Nexus that defaults them on closed visor, like it was in KCD1:

the deafault for conversations is visor up in KCD2, the only helmets that dont are helmets without a visor like the pre order great helm or some helmets with an chain aventail covering your face

the pre order helmet is a great helmet so it does not have a movable visor in reality, the helmet only has a visor as far as the mechanic goes but thats for convenience reasons because having your screen permanentely be limited by the visor interface would be annoying. in reality the only way to open the visor would be to take off the helmet

edit: and in the first game there was no actual opening or closing your visor as far as the actual helmet models go, shure, you got the visual effect on the screen but in actuality nothing changed at your helmet model.

now in KCD2 the visors actually close or open physically on the model
