Defending the Nebakov castle sucks
This game is awesome but holy hell, did the Finger of God quest left a sour taste in my mouth. I had to do repeat it at least 3 times, first two times I couldn't pick the rocks at the gate, next after defending the lower castle, after climbing up the ladder, I couldn't go anywhere, because there were at least five soldiers concetrated around the ladder (allied), they wouldn't move, I couldn't move. And the whole quest is handled pretry badly, day before you are treating your wounded, of course I'm not doing it in my heavy armour. Then you go sleep, next morning there's an army, everyone changes into armour, but you don't get a chance, so now I'm stuck in my Charisma outfit.

Yeah rocks are bugged.
yeah same when you advance trough the game there is more fights like that and are plagued with bugs, they are not even optional...

couldn not interract with the rocks as well, ended up just shooting the guys with the axes at the gate from above which worked and progressed the step

I didn't even know you could fail the siege segments.

tbh, that's one of the best parts of that game as far as i'm concerned.
and the siege at the end/beginning of the game <3

Yea had that too with the soldiers blocking me, but those are all optional tasks to my avail.
So it's not game breaking and there's no achievement in it either.
There's only 1 rock you can interact with, its the one by itself closest to the hole (and the target lock on interacting with it is stupidly small for some reason). So that was a bit frustrating. I also got stuck in charisma clothes the first time too, luckily it saved when going to bed so a quick reload/skip cutscenes got me back in armour in only a few seconds.

My ladder climb got blocked by an enemy that was climbing over to meet me. lol.

Bit annoying but I enjoyed the set piece enough it didn't bother me too much.

As a first time player, the fact the game doesnt give you a chance to swap to your actual armour is actual BS. Im at that part now and Im stuck in my charisma clothes. Im doing a no/minimal save scum run since doing that takes away from the impact of my choices, and its really sucking for me lmao Im stuck with civ clothes and a club. Im lucky I know how to fight

Agree, just a single second after waking up not being in combat, maybe with Henry mentioning to change into his armor would improve this quest immensely. I had to fight a siege in my sneaky clothes...
There is some issues with the rocks yes. But my real issue is that if you like me (and many others) roleplays a little, then you can be really punished if you sleep without armor on.

Having to go through the battle in your "normal" dress up can be rough.
Well yeah, going up against a weapon called ‘the finger of God” isn’t going to be a pleasant experience.
I never encountered these alleged problems either. In fact, I wish there were more guys rushing the gate because one-shotting them with a rock was awesome fun.
That siege was pretty spectacular for me. We fought them off and sent them running, only to have them pull out their secret weapon and blow the tower to smithereens... damn.
