Stuck in godmode
Was messing about, forgot about it and now I'm basically stuck in godmode. Can't seem to remove it through the commands.

Try a previous save to when you turned it on. If not, delete the relevant .ini file that the command prompt edits and steam or the game should recreate it for you either by verifying files or when you next start up the game.

Any idea where I can find the file?

I'll take a look

what was the command you entered for god mode? looks like they are .cfg files for this game. Almost found it. System.cfg in root drive of game is for general game settings and tweaks by the looks.

Have you tried taking the game out of debug mode? There's a chance it will disengage any lingering changes you entered and or reset to default.

edit: Ok, doesn't look like the game isn't organized with the file I had in mind. I'd try turning off debug mode and booting it up. If that doesn't work alone, turn debug mode back on and then try entering the god code again and see if that toggles. Worst case you might try reinstalling. If it persists after reinstall you know its tied to the files in the savegame folder under your users directory that don't get deleted during uninstall.

did some googling and found this which may help -
"I found a solution. download the cheat mod from nexus mods then enter cheat_remove_buff id:test_invincible in the console"

Ya, it might be bugged hence people needed to modfix. Surprising how many mods are already out.

Did you right click on the game in steam and add "-devmode" to the launch options?

Yeah the issue is when I enter the commands from the mod it says they are incorrect.

Tried coming out of devmode but made no difference. Same when I went back in and entered the command again. No luck I'm afraid.

Well that's not ideal. Did you try a save from before you entered god mode just to see if that works?

Tried loading an old save that didn't have god mode enabled. I put in the command to disable godmode and went back to the newest save but still in godmode. Don't want to try enabling it on the old save too if I can't get back out of it.

Wait, so you can load an earlier save and it wont have Godmode on? If so that should mean its contained on the save file and reinstalling wouldn't change anything theoretically.
