Please devs give us a happy romantic ending with Rosa
Her leaving by the end makes it too much of a downer ending.

Why can't they be together? :(

Or at least give her two endings: the current one and a happier/much more satisfying one if we make some really good choices.

Please...?

They are going to put out some DLCs. Don't listen to the people saying Henry has no chance at it, its a game, devs can do anything they want. His father and/or the other nobles can even make him a full on noble for his actions. Henry can be made into a knight or who knows what else. One of the DLCs hopeful is going to be something like Blood and Whine from Witcher 3.
I believe it's up to Wenceslas to legitimise bastards and anoint subjects to knighthood, which I doubt is going to happen in a DLC in this game.
DLC will likely be small things, not major battles and story events like freeing Wenceslas and returning him to the throne.

I don't see why a DLC could not be made to give a proper ending to Henry. I would gradly pay for it.
Now I am not history buff so I asked Gemini AI and his answer was that nobles COULD promote people to knighthood. So it can easily be done. his father could even accept him as his son, make him his scusscesor and a full on noble as well.

Honestly that's the ending we should've gotten, if there's no plans for a KCD3.
Where is Rosa after the ending?

I still hold hope for a DLC giving us a proper ending for Henry. Her father, actually her entire family seems to be in a very bad spot right now even if they are nobles, having her marry Henry would be a good idea if you ask me. Only heir (even if he is a bastard) to a noble, famous and well respected warrior and if somehow he also finds our Henry took her virginity? Perhaps she could even end up pregnant and her father DEMANDING Henry to marry her. The ending of the game was good with "what do you want to be now, a warrior, make a family (chose who) an adventurer and so on". Just expand a bit on each. It does not even need a full explanation as to how Henry did it. Simply show Henry with Rosa and 3 kids on an estate would be enough for me.

She left for another city (don't remember where). She and her father still have family there.

I really hope so, after the ending I stopped playing because I didn't have the enthusiasm to play this game. I hope the devs are aware of this and make a DLC

The devs were too wishy-washy with the portrayal of Rosa's romance, honestly. Henry shouldn't have the option to say he wants to settle down with Rosa if it's not possible to discuss obtaining Lord Ruthard's blessing before they leave Suchdol.

Henry is a master manipulator by the end of the game, but can't convince a newly-destitute lower Lord to realize that he's never going to get a better offer for his daughter's hand than the son of the Skalitz Lord and the pride of all Sazava?

Nah, I think the devs didn't want Rosa to be a real romance option, but threw a silly unrealistic option in at the end when you tell your parents in a dream that you'll settle down with someone and you can pick Rosa even though Katherine is a more solid option.

Pretty much.

Via building enough reputation, having enough charisma and enough money Henry is a pretty desirable bride already.

With him already deflowered Rosa on top of that the only way to save the family's "honor" is to bend the rules a bit and let them marry.

The devs could make this relationship work with only a bit of effort and creativity.

Deflowered? She was no virgin man. That is specifically stated later.

But Henry is her true love. :)

Seems even more likely if their romance was learned that Henry might get forced into a Monastery. The way both families save face.

I think Henry would prefer becoming a legitimized bastard of Sir Radzig over lifelong celibacy in a monastery.

Might force him to step up his game and get his legitimacy faster.

that would not be about what henry wants though, it would be about saving the face of both families regardless of how henry feels about it, thats how it was back in those days. :)

I agree, they could easily make it work if they desire to do so. Rosa being mentioned at the end of the game in the dream sequence is telling enough that the devs can include her in a future dlc.

I prefer in my RPGs, where choices supposedly matter, to have the option to achieve a satisfying outcome to optional romances and quests if I put enough effort.

I do not mind if there are unsatisfying or even bad outcomes to quests/romances as long as there are good outcomes to those as well.

Is it entitled of a player to feel like the effort he put into something should be actually rewarded?
