Ok so im at the stone cross after finding two other crosses and now have to dig in order to progress. It keeps telling me (something is in the way). . .nothing is in the way!!

And then ding i remember there is a shovel at the dilapidated building and guess what. . . .it worked. you have to sacrifice your shovel for the one they provide you at the church. I don't know people its obviously destined for your hands from that point on .

tell your dog to stay.
Go back and dig.
Somehow the game cant handle your dog.

Mutt will interrupt lock-picking at the worse times, too. Of course if it's a door, he's below your vision.

Mutt's always in the way. I had to send him home for most of the game cause I kept hitting him with my sword.
