18 crash in 6 hours

It's litteraly unplayable, I was streaming the last part of the game until the end, and it's been a real fight because of these numerous crashs.

lol ddr4 with a cpu that can only use ddr5

1- I'm not the one who made the computer
2- you can find the detailed specs in a video of a youtuber called Jigfio (search DJboucherie on his channel)
3- It's the first game with all these crashs.

XMP doesn´t cause crashes in KCD2. I also have it activated and the game never crashed in 83 hours playtime.

XMP cause crashes in any game and app. Depends on how good memory controller/RAM bining/Motherboard is and how much of a critical error this causes.

You are the reason why ppl even activate XMP/EXPO without thinking cuz someone like you said "DuDe JuSt TuRn On ExPo/XmP aNd ThAtS iT" without implying that it's a lottery and won't work more than 50 percent of the time.

You're just lucky if you're okay, congratulations on winning the silicon lottery.

AMD processor.

One CPU to ruin them all, and in the darkness, crash them.

Real talk, Cryengine is hyper CPU intensive, and when I first got my new build I was getting a ton of crashing in Hunt (also Cryengine) and my problems were caused by computer management software (the ♥♥♥♥ that usually comes on a disc with the motherboard) that was auto controlling my fans, power draw and overclocking. Had to disable that stuff and it sorted my issues out.

Little update:

I properly reinstalled windows, and now everything run smooth.

More than 15 straight hours on the game, and no more crashes here

I have exact same PC as you, maybe different mobo, ram etc.

But i have not had a single crash.

I have kept my BIOS and drivers updated, so maybe the problem lies there?
