I would set dlss to quality and max all settings (experimental.) game is very well optimized and if you're not a 8 year old fortnite player that thinks 140 fps is the gold standard and are fine with 60ish you should be in for a treat. Game is amazing.

I'm running DLSS on quality, 1440p resolution, all settings on high with a system that isn't as good as yours and it both looks gorgeous and runs well, with consistent frames over 100fps.

You might be able to kick a few settings from High to Ultra with the extra horsepower your rig has.

3070ti and ryzen 7 7700x here.
I have same GPU and similar CPU. 7800X3D.

I'm running game at 1440p on max settings for everything, but not using experimental. I'm getting anywhere from 120-140 using DLSS quality when out exploring. I'm hitting my 140 FPS global cap for my GSync monitor often. Towns it can dip a bit but nothing bad. Game is very well optimised.

I'm using the preset override in Nvidia App to make the game use the Transformer model preset K of DLSS4. Looks great. I needed to manually add the game exe as it did not show up by itself.

You will definitely be getting around 140 FPS with DLSS quality. Not sure what the other response was meaning saying you should be happy with 60 FPS? You will definitely be getting way more than that with your rig, lol.

Transformer model preset K of DLSS4? where do i find this?
I looked in the app today and with the newest driver (released February 20th) I'm only up to model J for KCDII. This is the first post I've seen mentioning K being available for it.

Select latest instead of preset J. This will enable preset K

Right click on the App in system tray and exit. Restart it and it should fix it. Did for me anyway. Had the same thing after last driver update.

I run a Ryzen 7 5700G and a 4070ti. I have every single setting maxed out with DLSS set to quality. At 1440p I stay around 103 to 120 FPS. Some low dips into the 90s. Cut scenes are usually in the 77 frame range which is fine seeing as its just a video. Only time I've noticed those 90 dips are when I'm making potions at night in that first little village and the flame from the station is the only light playing with the shadows. I have no kind of over clocking going on besides the factory OC on the GPU and XMP enabled on my RAM.

No clue why but the preset override shows up for me just fine in the Nvidia App. Been using DLSS4 preset K since i first started playing the game.

DLSS is bugged, so I turned it off and graphics are much better. DLSS causes weird smoke like shadow around objects, pop in, glitching and blurry graphics.

depends on resolution. for 1440p u should try set overall graphic settings to ultra and change to FSR Native AA. why is that? bcoz this setting works like smaa in a game but instead of bluring it it makes game sharper. u lose some performance but the qualitry looks much more clearer and better. if ur gpu cant handle that just go for high and again fsr native AA. I'm having rx6950xt which is justr a bit worse than ur gpu and this game looks amazing on that settings. dont use any ♥♥♥♥ nvidia program, just change settings in the game itself
