How to get 60K Groschen
I randomly stumbled upon a chest which had $60k Groschen with a ton more items. There is one Tailer in Kuttensburg which the door is always locked including the daytime. It’s in the middle of the city and 2 Tailers are side by side. You have to wait till everyone goes to sleep in order to pick the lock. The chest is upstairs and it’s the first door on the left. Chest is behind the door. FYI it’s a very hard lock.

There is also chests downstairs that hold a lot of loot too. I did not find this online anywhere but should get you enough money to buy good armor. Enjoy!

ok, nice to know will give it a try

but tbh, you don't need to have any groschen to buy armor.
use it on something useful, like skills - or pay your fine for doing crimes!

if you really need good armor - just go to opatowitz -(or however it is spelled in your language... near sigismunds camp)

bash the guards there, take their stuff, and you are golden - i got all the best armor there, without buying anything :)

but the decisions are of course up to you - i'm just a random posting his opinion online, not your boss
In Kcd1 if you stole money from merchants chests it wouldnt regenerate for a very long time, (atleast for me) so it wasnt worth stealing the money in the end, as I coulndt sell of gear. Maybe its different now, and 60k is quite alot so.. ;)

I played the first one and never stole money from merchants. In KCD2 it’s different because the door is never open. You have to lockpick it or come from the under ground tunnels. However you can still sell the gear at other vendors.
Thanks. Will test this as soon as I'm no longer under siege in Suchdol.

What in the world do you need that much for?

Buying every single item, obviously.

There will probably be a big money sink in one of the DLC's. That's how it was in 1; one of the DLCs was essentially rebuilding a town so you invested a lot of your own money.

That is some nice planning ahead.

I just assumed there will be nothing that costs that much because the vendors have next to no money. I am looting armor pieces that no vendor can afford unless I am willing to sell it for 50%-90% off.
