Game shuts off PC
So yeah.

I tested the RAM using the Windows tool,
checked the system temps,
benchmarked the GPU,
and ran the CPU (and RAM) with Prime95 for 8 hours without any issues.

These shutdowns are not often(3-4 times so far in 40hours) and only happen during those fancy Movie cutscenes, but not always. The temps are shown, and they’re not an issue.
I’ve also run an SFC scan in Windows and updated all drivers, including the BIOS.

I can play normaly without crashes. or shutdowns

Specs:
RTX 4070 12GB (stock clock)
Ryzen 7 5800X (stock clock)
32GB RAM 3200MHz DDR4
Windows 11 24H2
GeForce 572.47

This happens only in this game.
No crashes or shutdowns in any other games.

If you use msi afterburner, turn it off. That was causing my pc to shut off with the game and no issues after closing the software.

Try brute force testing everything together instead of seperately.

This is happening to me too, the game crashes the PC, just turning it off using the button to unlock it

I have a same problem here... I've been trying every imaginable solution for over 7 hours.
Nothing works. "Bad Pool Caller" -> shutdown

Im playing with mods, but also had this Issue on Release Day without Mods in the First Fancy Cutscene.
Or are there any mods that fix that?

Another reason to never ever pre-order anything
It takes months before they fix a game with patches into a state it actually works with the computers and software systems that 95% of people use.
That is also assuming they patch correctly, its a coin flip that is actually done.

I did not pre-order. The game comes out and I buy it. It must work that's all

I dont know, personally I feel like it's since I installed a mod. I tried downloading the game 3 times in a row, trying my other NVME, but nothing works. Like it was a bug related to a profile save or something...
Buying on day 1 and preordering is more or less exactly the same. You are going to be disappointed because you based your purchase on hype or promotional marketing. It takes months even years these days for an AAA to get to a state of playability.
Pretty odd, iv been seeing a lot of people having computer crashes with Nvidea though on newer drivers. Im on AMD (7900xt) the game has never crashed once on me, we dont even have a driver out yet lol.
