Demons of Trosky issue

I'm stuck at 4/5 fireplaces in Maiden Side of the Castle, there's a locked door. I Googled and people just used console commands and apparently you can still get achievements when you use commands but I'm not entirely convinced. Anyone found a solution? I really don't want to risk losing ability to get achievements

Just ignore it and prceed with the game. The quest will fail by itself and you don't need to finish it anyway.

Did you try sprinkling the stove in the kitchen with the cook who sent you? It also counts as a fireplace.

I did, and I checked this whole place like 10 times looking for those damn fireplaces and the only way to finish this quest is to get through that one green door

Yeah I know its not mandatory and the reward for it is probably not that good or anything but I really don't like to just ignore quests unless there's nothing I can do

Due to bugs it is highly probabale two more of your quests will fail undeliberately so don't worry.
You will still get the sidequesting achievement as the requirement is cca 110 quests done and there are many more than that.

Hard to say, then. That was the only fireplace I couldn't find back when I did it because I didn't think of it as a fireplace. To answer your other question, however, I've used console commands for things like adding the two missing blacksmith recipes and continue to get achievements since. Want to say I added them a week ago but just got the achievement for hanging some dirty drawers as a flag.

It's likely because of the banquet hall doors becoming uninteractable. I used the console to move to area, and I still got achievements later in the game.

you have to teleport in the room with console commands.

Well then I guess I better get used to it

One of them was real hard for me to find. I ended up looking it up on a walk through for the location. Its prob. the same one. One of them is up the stairs and far away from he rest.

Hello 2High2tell,

I finished the quest without any issue and or console command and in the end I got the rewards from Ulrich and the quest is shown as completed in my quest log.

BUT after I reached the Kuttenberg region I checked my quest log and found out that the last part of the done quest is marked as undone (went back to Ulrich and report him...). It is just a cosmetical thing, but I'm very pedantic.^^ So I asked you if you had the same "issue".
