At the end of this side quest Chenyek says that the house next door has one of the symbols on and I should go check it out (I think he said it was one about wealth), but other than the archery range across the way the other nearby properties are inaccessible.

Is this just an oversight and they didn't actually put anything next door for it or does he move later and I should have done the quest then and there would be a next door place or does one of the places open up later on?

There is a Questmarker on him but i can not talk to him .... do i need to to go on with the Story to be able to talk to him?

I think the house is not next door. You need to actually find a house with that sign. I think I know where it is, need to check tonight.

the house is the northern locked door on the right across 2 cobblers. Sign is to the left of the door. It's a combo of "wealth' and "get arrested" signs.

I think I had to go a couple quests into Katherin's questline to get that to actually unlock. Warhorse is bad at showing markers that aren't actually available yet.

Yeh there are a couple of ones around kuttenburg like that, the miner forman too, but so far like legion said you can eventually talk to them, it's just annoying to check on them after each main quest to check if you can now aha

Just to add as i've done some more of his now, one of the ones he gives (after having done a couple already) seems to require bumping into a messenger as an encounter while fast travelling, they'll tell you to go visit him. I don't know if the messenger can show up sooner but for me they found me shortly into a main mission called Taking French Leave

A last bit from me and others I've chatted to about this, for anyone finding this later.

While the above is true and you might have to catch some of those quests at the right points as the game progresses, there is also yet another bug that can mean quest markers show up even after you have completed all the ones they have. so it's just a mess.

the ones we have seen this for are chenyek, foreman vlach, hired hand krizhan and master menhard (even while having the tornement quest active while waiting for the day to come round for it)
