My stuff is in Ruthard palace

When I started the last chapter of the main story line. I put some stuff in a chest in Ruthard palace. Stupidly it was not my own chest. Is there any way to get it back without having to replay the whole last chapter?
I've tried to get back into the palace but the main entrance and the underground passageway are both blocked.
I want it back because my cutpurse-set is in there, the rest is all replaceable.

Chests that aren't yours despawn their content and spawn other stuff inside every day or two.
Some unique items won't disappear, but generic stuff and money will.

Cutpurse set is not required to be a masterthief and I am the living proof of it.
Stole everything everywhere and refused to give my private data to 3rd party.

Thanks for your reaction. It's lost for now then. I will have it again when I start another savegame. And you're right I don't need it to be a master thief but I very much liked the hood because it's the only one to put over your head afaik.
