Game in itself is okay i mean in comparison to other ♥♥♥♥ on the market KCD 2 is 10/10, comapareing it to KCD 1 is just stupid since KCD 1 has soul and this one does not sadly. I was never hyped by anything and made mistake at the same time, i know what i like and what i dislike the moment i see it, i was always able to predict what will be ♥♥♥♥ and what won't, this time i missed and only because i loved KCD 1 so much.
For the first 15/20 hours i was excited and after that i realised what a terrible product KCD 2 is, sadly its just not what im looking in KCD (like) game. Who knows, again im waiting on everything to get released they might fix everything i don't like, but i doubt core of it all starts from simplifying and restricting core game mechanics instead of improving on them in favour of people who play on gamepad and to bring game to bigger audience, which i have nothing against, but don't limit me for their cause; instead add two game modes, one that says ,,yes, im a normal human being,, and the other option ,,yes, im disabled human being,, and tweak options you need to assist or ease use of the product; just DON'T make me a handicap when im not one and neither is Henry not to be able to do an uppercut with a sword or a bludgeon even to stap with it if he wants to; what force is stopping him, i can't understand, apparently he got retarded after few days of traveling and falling on the head, no other explanetion.
But the second area the accents get worse, to the extent that some come across like it's a joke and not the Easter egg kind which doesn't fit the vibe, to character changing voice actor or accent multiple times in the same quest.
There are bug everywhere, meaning constant having to reload or find ways round stuff that can slowly build up and break quests or just leave some uncompletable.
The map is made with much less care, clipping assets, repeats, so many buildings that are just blocked off and objects you are supposed to be able to interact with but can't because other bits of terrain are blocking them from being poorly placed.
The quests themselves too are schizophrenic, quests seem like they could have been written by different people like everyone in the office got to come up with one, but that means alot of the reoccurring characters come across wildly different and again some are written like someone was just taking the piss and joking about, which doesn't feel right in the setting.
Some of the issues might be fixed over a while of patching, but I don't know how much they can fix stuff like the theme of the quests etc.
There are still some gems of quests where it seems like whoever made them was really trying though. But it's just a mess tbh that deflated alot of the immersion and enjoyment I had from the first area
