Can't access the vineyard

Okay I am trying to do the quest "In Vino Veritas" but even after accepting the job from the recruiter, I am unable to access the vineyard, Henry just keep[s saying that he will give the game away. It will not let me walk to where I need to go.

Look at your journal. Where is it directing you to go? (there are steps to take before going to the Vineyard)

After talking to the recruiter he tells me to go talk to the guy Jerome in the building in the middle of the vineyard.

Yet I cannot get there.

I didn't even do the recruitment part, I opted to just rob the place blind.

Is it a time of the day sensitive because sometimes when there's no letters on the plaque that means it's not the right time of day

are you on the main quest where you need to explore the underground with your brother? if so you cant access the vineyard at that time due to the main quest, I was having the same issue and found that out just now.
