Graphical Bug[Severity: Low]: Weird object shadows on water

Issue:

Getting a weird graphical artifact when an object passes between the player and water. Object "shadows" seem to parallax at a different rate to motion, causing a disconnect between object position and the water surface shadows.

More curious as to why this is happening, if it's a settings issue, or if not then if it can be resolved?
