Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

Ash Hunting Bow vs. Hazel Longbow (I have both but they have the same stats but the longbow is worth more? Which should I keep?)
So I've been using an Ash Hunting Bow (Quality 2, Power 110) and I killed the owner of a Hazel Longbow (Quality 2, Power 110) with the exact same damage stats and minimum strength & agility stats.

So my question is what's the general difference between a hunting bow and longbow and which should I pick between these two?

One difference is the value where my old Ash Hunting Bow is worth Gr271.3 while the Hazel Longbow is worth Gr345.1. This suggests that the longbow is superior in some way?

So should I keep the more expensive bow because it is maybe superior in some way or since the stats are the same should I keep the cheaper one and sell the more expensive one and get more Groschen?

Thanks for any insight you can give to help me decide which to keep and which to sell.

Difference is negligible so pick whatever you like. You will soon find stronger bows. I am carrying a Cuman captains bow (180 power) with black arrows. Not the strongest but it looks nice and with dollmaker it is an efficient and lethal tool. You can also use bane to add more damage.

longbows have more range.

been wondering something similar, it might be that the cheaper one is cheaper to repair and that that is the only difference and in that case the cheaper one is objectively better (it might be that the range of longbows is better though or a slight difference in draw speed)

Cool, thank you!

Now what are black arrows? I haven't seen anything like that. I found a merchant selling a worn cuman bow but it wasn't as good as my Ash Hunting Bow.

I found a single vial of dollmaker for purchase and I loved it but can't find more or the recipe yet (don't need to tell me where, I'll find it eventually). Now bane, is that the one that said it's better to poision food & drink vs applying to weapons?

And are you saying you can combine poisons together? So far the only one I can make is Lullaby but I can make the highest quality (Henry's Lullaby) and I used it for poaching. I got a good hit on a boar once he slowed right down quickly and I was able to go in for the kill. Or maybe that was the dollmaker? I can't remember actually. :P

(Just went to check and I have Henry's Lullaby on my long range arrows and my one vial of Dollmaker was put on my Better Hunting Arrows but I can't recall which I used on that boar. It was pretty awesome seeing my poisoned arrows have such a helpful effect though!)

Anyway, I like the look of the longbow and its quiver better. I think I'll keep it. Thanks again for the reply!

Ah! Cool, thank you! :) A great reason to pick it.

Is it slower or anything?

Yah another reply said the longbow has greater range so now I'm wondering if draw speed is different. I think I might prefer faster draw speed...hmmm...anyone know for sure about draw speed differences?
Ranyek's bow is quality 3 with 200 dmg you can get it during the quest to find dry devil's team.. problem is considering where he died you gotta walk around a pile of pig s**t and you'll smell like it :/
