Musa is literally pointless
I don't think it can be denied that he's literally a token character, added to the game solely because of his skin colour.
Nothing he does in the story is something that needs to happen for the plot to progress, and once he first appears, he just inexplicably shows up to pretty much every major event for the rest of the game. He's basically Poochie.

Dan Vavra: "And whenever Musa's not on screen, someone should be asking "Where's Musa?"

While i do really like the game so far, I do agree. This character is the perfect example of a woke black token character that is better than the people around him and does not fit in at all in the setting or story. If he was an arab it would make way more sense. How can this man know everything and speak seemingly all european languages as well as arabic, his own, be young and trusted and tolerated enough as a muslim to serve as a healer? It seems so strange and like a really clear example of dumb DEI in the game.

Musa didn't save my life. A guy with a boomstick distracted Erik long enough for Musa to push him off of me, but Musa was going to let Erik run me thru.
Which guy? That's interesting. He must have died in my game, because I didn't really pal up to Musa besides saving his life.

He took so long, I could've just stood up.
Well that still happened. Henry just sat there like a dumbass

Musa is Nazeem v2
I keep waiting for him to say, "Do you get to the Cloud district very often?" [Vicious side-eye] "Oh, of course you don't."
agreed

This is like saying Hans is pointless, he does nothing the whole game except being around.

Hate it or not, the game characters are properly written, some better than others.
KCD2 = goty.
Hans is a big part of the story, you numbskull

No no. I think you misunderstood what he was saying. He's comparing the OPs stupid remark to another theoretical stupid remark.

Hans is literally the driving force of the narrative. Henry has no reason to be doing any of this stuff if not for the mission HANS is tasked with

I know that. I'm saying what the poster was saying was agreeing with that. He was just using Hans' involvement as an example to compare how dumb OP's remark about Musa being pointless is. But hey, maybe I'm the one misunderstanding, here.

I'm OP and they're not comparable

Ok then, my apologies. You are right. I was mistaken.

Yes he is pointless, its random character and not main character, shocker i know.

What major event? At dinner and in the end? He still is background character and not main.

He is not pointless. Tolerant black Muslims exist. They even play video games.
The only places they exist are in areas where there isn't a majority caliphate, otherwise you'll get killed for even thinking of ever leaving their faith, or questioning it seriously.

Oh dear. I didn't know this. I better tell my neighbor. He'll surely want to hear about this.

Haha, spot on! Musa really is the Poochie of KCD2. Every time he's not around, it's like the devs panic: "Wait, where’s our diversity quota? Quick, get Musa in here to scold Henry about how backward Christian Europe is!"

And let’s not forget the male feminist vibes. He struts around camp, mansplaining morals while giving Henry the side-eye for not being "enlightened" enough. If you told me he had a "Believe Women" badge sewn onto his gambeson, I’d believe it. 😂

And to top it all off, he seems to be immortal.
you don't even own the game and you clearly have no idea what you are on about lmao.
