Possible bug? Everyone suddenly hates me
I have perk that imrpoves good and bad rep gain and also a lot of good guy perks and was doing a stereotypical good guy playthrough, I had almost 100 reputation in every village until I logged off yesterday and today I log on to see EVERY village in red for no reason. I accidentally killed a peasant in the woods and hid his body and this is the worst crime I ever did, which nobody ever noticed. Now the whole map despises me. I dont even have active crimes indicator near any village, its just an angry face

There are people you don't like from first look, maybe that's just the situation.
Sadly, game doesn't have any king of log to check what happened (except for stolen items, which helped me figure out why friendly soldiers started to kick by shiny metal butt right after cutscene when I helped them to defend that fort in south.

Regarding OP's rep: I think it'll pass, maybe it's due to trespassing or something. Or someone witnessed you with a bloody body of that poor lad. You know, in real life even a singly kill would kinda ruin your rep. Also NPCs tend to blame all problems on Henry, even if there is no evidence.
load earlier save might fix this

I wish bad rep could pass. But is there a rep decay system where it becomes neutral or positive? My rep is totaled for now, I did all quests already and there is no way going up
My rep at Maleshov did that. I've been there once, to buy a horse. I spent 5600 on a horse, COULDN'T trade my horse in so I had to just leave him there for no $. It's probably been a month of game time and I haven't been back there yet somehow my rep continually gets worse. I think I'm at -5 even though I never committed a crime there or nearby.

I assumed it was due to the story line and Maleshov being a stronghold. Now I'm wondering if it's a bug. Can someone tell me, without spoilers, if Maleshov's rep should be low because of the story?
ANSWER FOUND: You need to reload the region. If you're in Trosky, load an earlier Kuttenberg save or vice versa. I'm not sure if a game restart or fast travel between regions will work, but here's what did it for me.

Save your game (savior schnapps or autosave, doesn't matter), then load an earlier save from the other region. Then go back and reload your latest save from the first one. Rep should be reset to what it was before. This worked for all of my saves.

As far as I can tell, it's the Handsome Charlie quest that's bugging this. If the charcoal burners see you kill him at all, then your rep tanks for everyone else. You can avoid this by stealth-murking Charlie at night and staying totally undetected, or just try the load/reload method I just listed. Hope this helps.
