Is hans still gay if you don't romance him?
Just wondering, since the community manager said that Henry ain't gay if you don't romance him. Is Hans always gay/bi or does it go the same route with Henry that being gay is a choice?

Henry being gay(although not previous canon), is not bothersome to me. It's an RPG and you can build your own bear, I'm cool with that you play however you want to play it. I don't play him that way but if you want that experience go wild.

But to behonest the optional romance options with Hans Capon ruins the friendship vibes to me, if one party want's to sheeth his sword in the other... then maybe it's not really a normal brotherly friendship.

Yes you can have platonic friendships with people of the geh, have some myself buuut if you can F one by just asking then maybe the dynamic is fundemantally diffrent.

I enjoy KCD2 made already many hours in it and bit through the DEI hire Musa of Mali bullet and enjoyed the world so far. The other added diversity both ethnic and orientation wise is authentic and I appriciate that. Love the game so far, this just bugged me since men can't have normal deep friendships in games without being gay for eachother.

You had naked time in a 5' bath tub in the first game ...

Uuuh they have trunks and a shirt on, did you play some weird mod or something?... they didn't go in their birthday suit and started wrestling and kissing or something.

They drank in a tub, and had a bathmaid around. If you think sitting in a hottubwith friends is gay then the amount of gay people should be through the roof right now.

Well, yes, honestly, I think you aren't being honest with yourself about what 'gay' actually is ...

Just think back to all those time you and your mates were in the hot tub - did you ignore them, have blinders on, not check out their physiology?

Admit it, you are a. Trolling, like you do in every RPG Forum, b. closet as f.
I romanced Hans, and it seemed to me like Henry was the one initiating that route based on the dialog options I chose. If you don't press the 'gay buttons', I don't think Hans will behave the way he did for me.

Well it sounds to you that being gay is drinking with shirts on having ladies around while cracking wise... like mate you are grasping here.

Just because you appirciate the male form and can't stop looking doesn't mean everyone does, sorry mate.

Dude I have had said in these forums numerous times that Henry being gay is no issue, how is having a legit opinion trolling exactly? could you cite for me my troll posts here cause you're just making stuff up again.

Fair enough, I first did all the side quests, and exploration and am now at the moment I'm getting vibe options for him. Him not sounding intrested later is a welcome one. Thanks for the info btw.

No prob, man. You will see a giant red heart symbol next to the dialog option that will unlock the series to romance particular characters. Don't click the ones you don't want to. :) Enjoy.

I'm quite sure they are going to put the giant red heart symbol next do Mutt's dialog options too in the future. The brightest leftist minds of our age (Vaush and Cenk Uygur) have been championing this kind of stuff for years now...

pfff don't push politics here mate, no need for that. It's a fun game and worth while, although I don't agree with everything the game as a whole is amazing and still has all the aspects of the old game I loved and even made the clothing more authentic, hell they finally stripped Hanush and Radzig of their weird inauthentic outfis radzig had weird biker spikes and now normal noble clothes.

My only complaint's this far are, Musa not being a Moor or nubian(to make it more authentic, it would've been better if he was an arab or an ethnic turk), Hans his sexual awakening and the combat having two less direction no completely optional parrying and no two options for low blows now just 1 , unlike in kcd1.

That's uptill now really it and I don't know about you but that is a great situation to be in, if these are the main issues to me then money well spend, I love the game so far.

I don't think it really matters. Unless you make the choices for a romance, then it will never really come up.
It's probably best to just assume he is bi but significantly leans more towards being attracted to women.

Schrödinger's gay.

Schrödinger's gay, haha! That's an excellent way of putting it.

Sorry, according to the internet, the option alone makes you gay. Not the choice.
Like in RL where we all are gay, because we have the option. Doesn't matter what you actually do in RL. You could go straight to your best friend and hit on him right now.

Hans won't hit on you nor mention it if you don't hit the clear labled button. His behaviour still changes through the game (not in a gay direction) but, well, could be because what happens through the game. The experience Hans got in KC:D1 is childs play in comparsion, without spoiling it.
It would be illogical if he doesn't change and stays a stuckup and oblivious noble on his first "real adventure". Maybe that is the real problem, because they loved him in the first game because of that.

And since when that is automatically gay?

Ah very clever, that probably is the reason now that you mention it.

In the first game, there is a gay monk who was forcibly sent to a monastery to "cure" him, he says that he can't help himself, and he didn't CHOOSE who to be, this is a very good message, it shows a real attitude towards homosexuals and what they had to go through at that time. I always supported him by saying that Henry doesn't judge him and that he is the way he is, because I'm not a homophobe like many people say because I don't like what was done to Henry. But now they tell me that Henry is YOU, and that he is straight if you don't CHOOSE an OPTION to make him gay, and a lot of people actually wrote that I can also CHOOSE my sexuality in real life.
