RIP to KCD2

It was nice playing a straight, Christian-based character but ya know, pandering has done so many wonders for companies and products. Y'all still haven't learned yet, you will in due time.

Its not really an RPG per say. Its an Action Adventure.
I agree that users are overreacting and having the MC playersexual is a industry standard since forever..

But we can´t make choices.. the story is set 100%.. our actions can´t change the shape and story of Bohemia after all. In a real RPG, I would have agency to change both my own path and the worlds.

There is a reason why we have genres and they are more set than just this, playing a role is not exclusive to RPG´s its a very defining part of Adventure games and thus also Action Adventures.

Whats next... are you going to say Fifa is an RPG as well, because we can create our own character and play them.....

Your definition would make the vast majority of videogames RPGs.. why even have tags and genres then... no.. RPG´s stem from tabletop.. not that I expect many to know this.

I don´t think any of us are in rage.. its just a game, this is a debate about a game on the internet....

That said, obviously people debate here.. that is what forums are about. Often in a friendly manner, but without always agreeing.

They don't want choice, because the woke mob claims to like choice. They don't really like it but they claim they do. So that's enough to stand shoulder to shoulder with the wokies and act like absolute puritanical zealots. the wokies burn everything left of centre and the anti-wokies burn everything right of it. Because neither of them have real meaning to their lives so they live to fight the culture war.

I guess I'll be the first to say that THIS is a solid answer. I think more of the core audience could find assurance regarding Henry's character through that statement (maybe spread this around more). I'm gathering that story wise, Henry is still your traditional straight God-fearing peasant blacksmith, but GAMEPLAY wise there are more options, such as kissing a man or massacring an entire town lol. For the sake of the RPG. In my opinion, its not simply that the game has it as an option, but that Henry's core character was being flipped on its head as far as the main story goes, against what the core fanbase knew Henry as and want him to be. The clarification helps.
