- Killing him won't break the main quest because he refuses to return and you'll tell Dry Devil that.
- Killing him before training, of course, prevents you from training.
- Not killing him also won't change anything and you actually don't have to kill him, you can steal all your money and the book then lie to Bailif that you've killed him
Basically, regardless of will you let him live or not, you should first train skills.
And read the book before giving it away, don't forget that.
And to add to this DON't forget to talk to the baliff so you can grab a bounty quest as well! A little extra cash
CRAP IM SORRY. Editing it now!!!
I left him alive because I thought passing the speech check could get him to rejoin Dry Devil. It didn't work, but he didn’t charge me anything.
Later in the main story, I decided to go back and try to turn him in. I knocked him out and carried him to the Miskovitz bailiff, but that didn’t work; he just started fist fighting random people.
Finally, I gave up on trying to do the noble thing and just killed him. Side objective complete lol.
haha i made the right choice then
