Too much dialogue
at first i listened to most of the dialogue but as you progress the dialogue gets longer and im just bored listening to such long dialogue when i just want to play the game, now i find myself skipping everything and not really knowing what im doing except for following map markers, is it just me or anyone else get bored in dialogue ?

I love this game. It's also insanely frustrating. I could handle the dialog because I can skip it but I am really tired of having all my gear taken and being forced to play the game a certain way. So far I have enjoyed the stories for the main quest, but the missions themselves had me on the verge of uninstalling.

Don't lie to the community.
EndymionTV said cutscenes are unskippable and if he said something, then it's the truth.
I Agree. It's a love/hate game. Sometimes it's very entertaining and emersing, but a lot of the time it's "Talking Heads Simulator 2"

Well, maybe you should install Minecraft again and go for dumb grind since you're obviously not capable of enjoying a storyline

Whooo, someone has the nerve to dislike an aspect of my perfect game! That surely justifies calling them simpletons! Did you read the title of this forum? something todo with 'discussions'...

KCD1 was fine, KCD2 is excessive IMO

There are applications like Cheat Engine which have a "speed Hack" feature that is customizable for slower or faster speeds and it has keybinds within it to speed up or slow down the game.
With this you can find a sweet spot where the NPC's talk faster but are still clear and understandable so anytime there is dialog you can use your keybind to speed them up. This way you won't have to skip the dialog but just speed it up.
You can also use this to have a keybind for faster running speed, or a keybind to slow things down so you can dodge arrows like in the Matrix or shoot bows like if you are Neo or Max Payne.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Cool.
In games such as this I enjoy dialogues. It helps with creating immersion, connect to characters and forces you to slow down and explore the world a bit more. So yeah, the more the better imo
Remember when Warhorse bragged about how much dialogue was in the game with their huge stack of paper? There you go. I found myself skimming the text and hitting the space bar quite a lot unless it was a conversation that actually seemed interesting or funny that I actually wanted to hear. Reading the conversation text is just so much faster. I think the alternative above with using a speedup may be the next best alternative. Having everyone speak in 1.5x speed may make it more bearable.

if you think there's too much dialog you're playing the wrong game , maybe do a little more research about what you're buying next time
what a dumb statement so u want less content? if u dont want to know the story just skip all of it

Nonsense, many people enjoy RPGs for the gameplay and story, but don't want to spend hours talking before they get to play again. Not everyone is a basement dweller with unlimited gaming time. The game gives you the option to skip dialogue and Henry seems to always remember it, so hitting the space button repeatedly doesn't really lose you all that much. If this were a classic RPG where the player is actually expected to remember stuff, that option would be impossible.
