Unplayable for me
I can't play the game because it keeps crashing. I've tried every solution I could find online, but nothing seems to work. When a fix does work, it's only temporary. I've encountered black screens or my PC shutting down completely when starting the game or while in a loading screen.

I played for a few hours until I reached the 'Bad Blood' mission, and then I reinstalled the game. After that, all I see when loading the map are white globes, as if I'm in an editor mode.

Here’s what I've already tried to resolve the issue:

No mods installed
XMP is disabled
My system is not overclocked
I verified the game files
I deleted the shader folder
I tried using different drivers
I used the NVIDIA Control Panel to extend the shader cache to 10 GB
I set the max frame rate in the NVIDIA Control Panel
My system specs are:

GPU: RTX 4080 Super
CPU: i9-14900
RAM: 64 GB of DDR5
I’ve never experienced issues like this with any other game, and everything else on my system works perfectly. If anyone knows how to fix this, I’d really appreciate the help. I really want to play the game.

Verify cloud saving is enabled before doing this.

Uninstall the game completely, then go through your program files and find the folder where the game files are stored locally delete them all. Find every spec of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 files. Delete them all then reinstall. These leftover files are all configuration files not game files so these might be the issue they are not verified during a sweep of corrupt files.

I had this issue with Blade and Sorcery I messed with the settings and it became unloadable in the headset but loaded fine audio wise. Once the configurations were deleted the original settings were redownloaded with the game.

Last tip would be memory leakage which has been a random issue with some people with some RAM cards in this game. They were able to fix it using a google guide but they never said what guide. Memory leaks cause crashes after a certain amount of game time.

Sadly I have the same problem. I played over 200h in the first map then I visited the marriage and went to the second map. There I played over 50h and made some side quests and explored the landscape. I got 1-2 crashes in the first & the second map (that is absolut ok). I used a trainer for carrying the tons of founded armour.

Since saturday I encountered permanent crashes equal where I travel, stay, talk or wait?!

I sended my datas to warhorse, but that could take some time and until the patch is out no one will have time there.^^ :(

@Gekcolous

give your save file to some friends for checking if the save file is broken or the pc.
My pc is 5 years old with an RXT 2080 Ti who never let me hang, but maybe the card is broken, or the workspace or... terrible :(
Let some friends check this.

i9-14900K you mean ? CPU degradation is the likely culprit, ask for RMA
its KF

!!!EDIT!!! A friend tested my save and it worked on her pc... so it is something with my hardware or the game settings!

Raptor Lake CPU? If yes, update your BIOS and get a replacement

It it worked, please tell us. ;)
Nope still crashes
I had the same issue on my 14900k and the crashing stopped completely when I disabled turbo boost. A couple others have said this helped them as well.

Try reducing the graphics, that helped for me.
i know intel if you have a I9 13 or 14k processor they forced motherboard companies to overclock your CPU by default to compete with AMD and not use safe limiters which can cause crashes i have a 4080 with an intel I9 13k and after 1 year it started having major crashing issues in games like hunt showdown(which also uses cryengine), grayzone, etc the after i learned i needed to underclock the overclock turning the CORE ratio usage in the BIOs from 55 to 50 and enabling CPU limiters so it would use the correct WATTage that fixed all the issues immediately. so far i only had one crash in KCD2 and that was during a 10 hours plus gaming sesh. id put money on it its your CPU
