Master Thief Perk can bug out just like in KCD1

If you took master thief and now your Henry just shuffles awkwardly towards a chest, which doesn't automatically open as advertised, the mini game doesn't come up but you still have the prompt for the mini game on screen, you got the master thief perk bug. It has already been present in the first game.

Here is the solution:

- saving and reloading will temporarily let you play the lockpicking game again, but it will bug out very soon again. Also, the perk is supposed to let you skip easy locks, so in reality ii is still bugged.

- the real fix is to brew a lethan potion and respec, and:

- either not take the perk at all and just keep doing the easy lock game. In that case the bug will not return ever.
- or respec and take the perk again and hope it doesn't bug out. I haven't tested this myself, it might still bug out, but it's worth a shot. I just kept doing the lock game and be done with it.

In my first KCD2 playthrough I never encountered the bug, but in my second game it reared it's ugly head. Hope this helps all who encounter this. Must be pretty rare as i couldn't find any thread about it, but I saw a video of a streamer running into it and having no clue what's going on. Peace out, now I am feeling quite hungry.
