demons of trosky quest

it wont let me sprinkle water on fireplaces. waited till midnight no prompt to do it? any ideas? i took magic potion

To be able to sprinkle on the fireplaces you have to talk to both cooks in each tower. Weird i know but that's the requirement. And there is currently a bug if you keep quiet about Semine and are waiting for the party the last fireplace you are looking for will be behind the door leading to the party which will now be inaccessible making the quest incomplete-able ive tested this on two playthroughs only able to complete it if you are about to raid not waiting on the party hopefully they will fix this on the huge bug fixes on the 13th.

This quest is bugged.

NOTE: This fix will not harm your save game or Steam achievements. It is safe to use.

1. In your Games Library on Steam, right click the game, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.

2. In the General Tab under "Launch Options", write "-devmode" (without the quotation marks).

3. In-game, use tilda (~) key to open the console.

4. Use the following console command to get into the room with the fireplace that you can't reach.

goto 2446 2622 220

5. And then the following console command to get out of the room safely.

goto 2446 2615 220

Its bugged depending on where you are in the main story. If you advance the main quest to right before the feast then one of the fireplaces is in an inaccessible room because the door to the room can't be interacted with anymore. You probably weren't that far along in the main quest yet.

I guess you’re right, I finished “the demons” (and all side quests) before the feast.
