Major Quest Storyline: Lion’s Den

Has anyone else had issues with this quest? I’ve tried alternatives, reloading 20+ hours of progression and even doing multiple side quests.

After the massacre in the city, the quest suggested I wait for Sam to return before proceeding with the next move. However, after Sam had returned. Zizka keeps insisting you find the rest of Dry Devil’s gang.

I’ve checked through many guides and made sure I had completed the interaction and/or quest from each member but there was no success.

I got Kubyenka, Adder and Janosh resting at Devil’s Den, Matthew refusing to come back to the gang, Ranyek dead in a cesspool, Bohuta turning Christian, and even Katherine’s super long tedious murder mystery quest done.

According to some posts, they say completing all of Katherine’s side quest will fix it but nope. Still bugged.

Katherine's quests are unrelated to Devl's gang.
From your description we do not know at which point you actually are - for all I remember Lion's den does not include Sam nor any similar massacre but a detective story plus Sigismund's camp.

The first quest right after Sigismund orders the attack on the Jewish quarters. My next mission was to consult with Zizka on what to do next but he keeps insisting I find the rest of Dry Devil’s gang even though I have all of them gathered beside the ones who don’t want to join or dead.

I have, I’ve exhausted every dialogue option possible explaining to Dry Devil on each of the members. Only options I’m left with now are asking him to teach me something, learning new technique, fighting him and more people, and the option of asking him something but this one doesn’t work as the screen just blacks out for a second and nothing happens.

Strange. You need to speak with Dry Devil and receive option "Let´s drink.." or something like that (dunno exactly because my 1st playthrough was with CZ dub). Then there will be a cutscene with heavy drinking, celebrating etc. and then you can continue with Žižka. I also couldn´t continue with Žižka till I finished DD quest (gathering his old party members). You maybe forgot about someone? 3 guys returned, two rejected to return (one wants to continue to rob people, one wants to live in peace with his religion), one was dead. Your journal should point you directly back to DD after you will find all members. Check your quest journal.

Do you know which member I'm missing? I triple checked the quest logs and can verify that I have all the members accounted for. My quest journal for "The Devil's Pack" quest states that Bohush is not willing to come back because I made him angry at the very end of it.

Talk to each member make sure there is nothing you missed, Go to the Dry devil while he is next to the arena and try fighting him with a real weapon to get him to reload and see if that fixes the issue. If not I genuinely don't know unless there was a step skipped somehow in one of the members questline.

I had this problem in my first playthrough.

What you should do in the future is get the gang back together (mission: "The Devil's Pack") the moment it becomes available, which is to say it should be almost the first thing to do after entering the Kuttenberg map. You can then go off and do whatever you like, coming back to do Lion's Den when the main plot has advanced far enough.

If you don't, the quest markers become horribly mixed-up (or non-existent) and the whole thing becomes an immense slog.

From the Devil's Den:

In order, I find Bohuta (Grund churchyard);
Speak with the dice players in the tavern south of Pschitoky to find Ranyek
Speak with the innkeeper, then visit the butcher's wife in Pschitoky to find Adder
Talk to the Miskowitz bailiff (he gives you a mini-quest too) and release Janosh
Then take the road to Suchdol (no fast travelling!) to encounter Matthew. (You may need to dismount and walk south of the road towards the forest a bit. Be prepared for a fight.

After getting them back, you need to do one more thing and I think this is where you're stuck:

Have a drink with Dry Devil. After all, you got his gang back, and he'll want to know.
Zizka will be amenable the next day. (You'll see.)
