Report a translation problem
1) a game rudiment from KCD1 which was much more harder in terms of inventory management. So to keep casual player's asses cool, they were not forced to transfer all their stuff between the chests.
2) artistic license, which eliminates the necessity of party or convoy mechanics - IRL such amounts of stuff should be transferred by 20 armoured men, on several carts.
as you progress you get access to rooms in towns. your stored items from any off them are accessed there.
