Ransom side quest - bug or what - haggling option

In the Ransom mission, I found László Farkas, the corpse, then I went back to Jan and he wants revenge on his brother.
You can bring reinforcements to the fight, but there is a negotiation option at the Kubyenka and Adder conversation option, which is very illogical, because it didn't even come out from the conversation for me.

Why do you have to haggling after Kubyenka and Adder? I don't understand.

You are asking people who didn't even have Adder option. I didn't find Adder at that point yet to be precise.

I took only 4 mercs from the POI camp with me (toothache solved bcs you are a blacksmith), there was no haggle.

I have the same thing. Probably a bug
for the first time ever my game also crash each time i approach Menhart in Kuttenberg when i go to ask for help. I tried many save layout its when i approach Menhart.
From your point, quest is bugged so keep a save on side maybe

I had the same bug. I think its supposed to be when you are paying for the mercenaries that help you out in the mission. I chose 0 but I still got the extra mercs.
