Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is a Work of Art & One of the Best Games I've Ever Played (No Spoilers)

I finished the main story and all of the side content tonight after starting the game on release day. I wrote a review, but wanted to genuinely share how much I appreciated this game. I knew that this was an excellent game while I was still in the Trosky region and building up Henry, but after 120+ hours spent in the game world, I can confidently say that this is one of my favorite games of all time.

I thought the main story was very well written, and the characters memorable. The abundance of side content was incredible - so much to do and so many dialogue options. I did go through a lot of the side content first, so my Henry was very strong early on in the game, but that didn't take away from how satisfying the combat was at all. As someone that enjoyed the challenging combat in the first game, I found the combat to be more accessible in the second. With that said, I did find myself swapping between different weapon types more frequently in the second game than I did in the first. They were all fun (though I probably used the polearms less than the others), and I liked how there were different scenarios where one would be more effective than another.

I also found the game's performance to be incredibly well optimized, and simply have to thank the developers for the work they put in. Thank you for creating such an incredible experience. I hope you all are enjoying the game as much as I did.

Try KCD1. After it KCD2 would become just another RPG, like Skyrim.

For me it's best game ever made. Better than RDR2 and Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven. (My top 3)

I finished my second play through of KCD1 earlier this year and it's still so good! Highly recommend playing the original, even if it's after you finish the second game. It will make your second play through of KCD2 even more enjoyable.
