How long does a poison last on a bolt/arrow?

it poisoned 4 bolts when I used a strong bane potion on a stack of bolts

It seems to last until you fire that arrow/bolt and retrieve it. I've had some bolts poisoned with dollmaker from trosky lasts even after the story brought me to kuttenberg.
Btw bane isn't so good to coat arrow/bolt, it's better used to coat weapons 1 henry quality dollmaker (-55hp) can coat about 40 arrow/bolt if I'm not mistaken
