Will my PC be able to run KCD2?
After reading the system requirements Im pretty concerned. KCD is one of my favorite franchises and my most anticipated game. My current rig can run pretty much any game currently without issue, just not maxed out. I know my gear is a little dated but it still handles Tarkov and Cyberpunk and Wukong pretty well on medium/high. I cant afford a total rebuild or a new rig. The only thing I can think of right now it so upgrade my ram from 16 GB to the recommended 32 GB, but will that really improve performance that much? Or should i just get a new CPU like a Ryzen 7 5800?

GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 2070 super

CPU i9-9900K

16 GB ram.

Under 5% bought and played KCD on Steam.
So it is pointless to try and use the median of unique users as a guidance towards what more high end gamers play.

After all.. this is not Dave the Diver.

I'm kind of in the same boat with an older processor that barely meets minimum and a broken ram bracket so I'm stuck with 16 GB, but I'll probably buy it and see if it works. If it doesn't, I can always refund within the two hour limit, so no harm done.

It depends on how old it is.
But if you play low res and up graphics, you should be fine. I would not go 1440p or 4k with 16gb ofc.

The GPU is your weakness.
The CPU would do just fine.

I assume you play 1080p
So you should be able to run the game, but don´t expect higher settings and +60 fps

Here are minimum
MINIMUM:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 10 64-bit (or newer)
Processor: Intel Core i5-8400, AMD Ryzen 5 2600
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB), AMD Radeon RX 580
Storage: 100 GB available space
There's a youtuber playing with a rtx 2080 at 1440p with decent settings (medium-high) and the game looks amazing, your gpu is just a few percent slower, just don't put every setting on high.
According to gamegpu benchmarks your cpu should be good for 60+fps (the Ryzen 3 3100 is getting 74 average fps and 63 min fps)

Shooting for 150 by the end of the week.

But hey if you want to know how your computer will run on a game that is not released yet?

By all means share your specs I will tell you. Or if you are just wanting to someone to say "oh cool computer" you know trolling for compliments.

I mean not what I was aiming for, but appreciate it none the less 🤣
So I barely meet the minimum. I have a I5 13thgen 16gig ram and rtx 4050 6gb laptop. I can basically run every game maxed out in 1080p which is all my monitor supports so I'm fine with that. The only game that struggles is Indiana Jones since you can't adjust the ray tracing it's built in maxed out. I can run Alan Wake 2 on ultra smoothly and obviously kcd1 no problem on ultra. Is it likely I can run this on high as long as I use dlss and worst case disable Ray tracing or is that not an option? Forgot to mention I have a SSD built in and also a 3tb SSD thumb drive. If the answer is I can't run it would upgrading to 32g ram make a difference? I'm also highly anticipating witcher 4 and I'm sure that will need more than this. I plan on getting a higher end gaming desktop once I find a new job since I'm currently in between jobs but in the meantime is it worth upgrading my ram or not really just hold out for the desktop in a few months?
