Trosky castle archery competition bugged with crime rating

So I'm trying to pass the time with my wanted rating in trosky, "allegedly" I stole 3K worth of stuff from the bailiff. (The indulgence chest is now at about 1K) So I figured I would explore, and do other things. I found Trosky Castle and decided to do a little archery. Went through all of the ranks and into masters. apparently the bailiff's son? is a master archer.

We finish the tourney, I win, and all of a sudden he decides he recognises me and chases me up the hill. He's out in 2 hits. I help myself to everything he has, naturally, and decide to go for another round of master's archery.

Guess what, to my surprise a bloody and half naked archer without a bow is now demanding to know who robbed him and wandered off in search of his stuff. The competition won't start because he wandered off. Any ideas on how to fix? He doesn't notice me the second time and everyone is just standing there, waiting. The competition already took my money, but the 'loose arrows' never happens.

i gotta admit your post gave me a good laugh ( in a good way ).
Anyways, any chance you could load a previous save then rob the guy after the competition ?

Thing is, he was robbed and knocked out after I won, I went back to compete and he was back, I guess it picks the closest challengers?

I loaded up the save, went back, and this time the competition had a guard and the guard commander, who also "conveniently" recognised me after I won. They unfortunately had accidents, and where dumped into the wheat field. I was shocked. I really can't even believe the farmer would do such a thing. Although I think now I might be stuck from entering Trosky even longer.

I think I might also be soft locked from getting to the wedding, as I can't go the blacksmith route because of my wanted status....

can you pay the errr............"indulgence" thingie i forget what is called................it eliiminates your wanted status i think.
