Let's troubleshoot the apparent save-crash issue
So - quite a few folks now claimed they have issues with the game since 1.2 where the game apparently crashes when saving.

I know that crap from my last 2 broken ass Raptor Lake Intel CPUs throughout various games.
Since the Microcode Update and Raptor Lake #3 my system is super stable and throughout 500+ hours of KCD2 I had some 2 crashes.

Hardware is inapparent though it seems as it also seems to affect AMD CPUs as well as i7 CPU which shouldn't be affected by the Raptor Lake Dilemma.

Anyway, whenever I check those threads and the profiles I don't see the game in those people's library.
Either the profile is private or - as said - they don't even have the game in their library.

So - tell me if I'm wrong but it seems like the issues in this regards are caused by pirated versions of the game?
If not - I'd love to see your actual profile, nothing easier than switching your profile to public in terms of library, hours played, etc.

Also - if you face crashes, please share your hardware stats as well as the crash report from the Windows Event Viewer - it definitely will pop an event in there when an app crashes.

I worked in IT for 24 years and I just love to troubleshoot and bored out of my mind so - please do me the favour and give me some data to work with :)

Says the guy with 0 history on KCD2
They probably using mods, even after removing them, save games or game cfg files might be corrupted. I have 0 issues and 0 mods for KCD2.

121hrs in but okay whatever you say
I have 17 mods installed. I used the modlist cleaner from Nexusmods the other day and I haven't had a crash since.

The only problem with that is you have to keep doing it once the saves fill up again. Gets annoying after like the 4th time.

A minor trade-off. Certainly a lot less annoying that not being able to proceed due to crashes and not being able to use mods to play the game the way I like it.
i was playing after patch 1.2 with zero crashes but from yesterday everytime i save my game it instantly crash

Aaaaand... I rest my case
The save crash with mods is already understood. There's nothing that needs to be investigated at this point. Warhorse needs to fix it, and the cleaner will work in the meantime.

How does Warhorse need to fix a mod-related issue?
Please explain that logic to me so I can grasp it
Warhorse is using a modlist. They add the exisitng mods each time at saving, but don't delete the old data. When the file gets too big >>> crash
