Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

Statistieken weergeven:
Why was the robbery of passersby by bandits counted on me?
I started a new playline, aiming for a zero-stole playthrough. But then I ran into two bandits who killed a passerby and looted the body.
I had just begun the game and was heading to retrieve my saved money—unarmed and in no position to intervene, so I hid in some bushes and let the two bandits pass.
Then I checked the stats, and my stolen record increased, WTF?

The witnessed a crime and did nothing!!! That's worse than stealing.
Dunno what really defines it but even despite those roadside mishaps - you get a really good ending if you don't overdo it

It's impossible to go for a really good run in KCD2 like the no-kill run in KCD1 - but if you don't rob corpses - and only steal when it's necessary - you get a special ending
Also - don't ♥♥♥♥ around and stay true to Theresa - still haven't played it through since I honestly have the hots for Rosa but..... hm
At least I think, I got the best ending in regards to the parents - was actually wonky - don't want to spoil anything.
It has been a bug since 1.0 release. Warhorse can't bother to fix it because it is not their priority as this bug doesn't affect the experience for most players barring those seeking to achieve zero-crime playthrough.

Funny though as in the final cutscene Henry gets called a 'bandit' for his crimes no matter how small they are, yet the game literally force you to become a criminal through bugs such as the one you mentioned.

I'd say forget about zero-crime for now as the mechanism is bugged. Alternatively you could seek out third-party mods that solves this problem (I don't do so because I don't like using mods).
Nah Henry gets called out for the necessary things he has done - if you get the "Sorry Mom" route - that was the good route

Don't want to spoil things but if you went on robbing corpses, you get a totally different ending where she's super disappointed and all you can pick is "repent"

If you burnt down Semine for instance as well as Meleshov - they'll both hate you ;)[(spoiler]
The Endsequence is lazy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥...Modern Agenda...hey Son you survived revenge us but rob out a bandit..how dare you and Violence is bad (and ignore the hundreds of live you saved )^^ Play the Game like you like get Extra Cash from Bandits and look the Good ending at Youtube if its really bother someone....its so hard to avoid when you kill a bandit and System say Crime :lunar2019grinningpig:

It's rather nuanced really - there's even a secret ending ;)

Its likely not an easy issue to resolve but I doubt its a bug. If you are seen in the area where a crime has been committed people may assume you are responsible. Its in one of the hints and tips for playing.
Successfully playing crime free is definitely a major accomplishment. I've had bandits surrender just as I was delivering the fatal blow. Since they surrendered and I killed them anyway, I've had witnesses accuse me of murder.
That doesn't seem like its a bug. Its just a difficult bit of programming logic to code around. You want it to be murder if they surrendered and you still killed them. Even Dirty Harry recognized that they had to be a threat for you to legally kill them.
"Go ahead...make my day". LOL

Well to be fair should the crime count mechanism in the game be not bugged I wouldn't mind being called out for the pettiest bad deeds as anyone would have been able to achieve zero crime. But alas it is not happening at least for now so I am and many others are pretty annoyed by the 'hypocrisy' of this game.

And just my two cents - the only good route should be not getting called out at all (someone actually managed to achieve that, idk how though). Getting called out and then repent IMO should be considered a 'grey' route.

Yeah, but what Henry gets at the end is just his memory of his parents. Any good or bad opinions are ultimately just his own self-evaluation.
And when the third game comes out you'll get to redefine who Henry is anyway, like you did at the start of this one.
The only thing I hate is, my favorite horse and the one I had at the end of my last playthrough of the first game, was Sleiphim or something like that.
I want him in this game damn it!
;)

I think it's very possible to do a 0 kill run in KCD2 but a no crime run is impossible as you are required to steal some ingredients in the quest for whom the bell tolls, you can end it with 2 items stolen and 0.2 groschen stolen or something like that.

I didn't finish my pacifist run but i reached kuttenberg with 0 kills, the next milestone would be the fight in the jewish neighbourhood but i didn't that far, managed all sieges in trosky and the battle to rescue the dry devil with 0 kills though. Toth doesn't count, i think runt didn't either in kcd1.
I just checked that running away from bandit can be enough to get item stolen: if a passerby bump into them BEFORE they despawn then Henry is framed even if he is out of sight and bandits aren't chasing him anymore.
