High charisma clothes problem
I recently found a coat that gives high charisma in a chest.

So I took it, equipped it and went downstairs to sell some stuff to the tavern owner.

As soon as I entered the room where there were a lot of NPCs I became wanted and someone said he stole my coat and is now walking around with it on.

Is there anything that can be done about this as in really want to sell to the tavern owner while my charisma is high.

Don’t wear stolen stuff in front of the people you stole it from. Seems kind of obvious.

Is this supposed to be a hypothetical post on what would happen if a toddler was allowed to play KCD2, and then asked to explain their reasoning?

Stick it in your chest for a few days and the stolen status will go.
The forum, and probably the game, should really come with IQ requirements.

To be fair, most RPGs don't care about wearing stolen items in front of the owner, so it's understandable to be confused if you haven't read every single tutorial the game throws at you.
OP: I "found" a thing in a chest after I picked the lock, decided to wear it and some cheeky shopkeeper decided to snitch on me.

..... Sovereign Citizen confirmed.
OP, are you yanking my pizzle?
