VSync still caps at ridiculous FPS
I don't know what's up with Vsync since release but this setting's been broken for me.
I have two monitors, one 60 and the other 144 Hz, and Vsync always caps to half what I select.
Ex I play on the 60 Hz monitor, activate Vsync and frame limitation to 60, but somehow I get only 30 fps, very unpleasant to play.
Inversely if I don't put Vsync my framerate goes to the absolute maximum my computer is capable of (100-200) and the PC starts overheating.

CG: RTX 4070 (Laptop)

Any fix planned, or mod that can solve that?

I had this issue for a moment (on 240Hz monitor it was only 30 or 60 avaliable). Probably it was some conflict with VRR on Windows. I switched this off for this game and I am able to choose 30,60,80,120 or 240 cap. Also you can go to nvidia control panel and lock framerate there without using in game v-sync.

Thank you for trying to help, unfortunately it's far from functional on my side:
Deactivating VRR and other Windows graphics management option didn't help one bit, FPS are still capped at 30. (Of course I restarted the game between each attempt)
Activating max FPS on the NVIDIA control panel kinda worked, but in a worse way than just playing 30 fps, I'm getting screen tearing and very unpleasant visual glitches whenever I move the camera....
Not fixed
Sorry to hear that, you can also try to force v-sync with fps cap set for 72 frames in nvidia panel (default in KCD2 is under app control) maybe that one will work properly. It might be worth to check if you have G-sync in control panel enabled if avaliable for your monitor.

What kind of magic is that? My screen is 60 Hz but following your suggestion setting max FPS to 72 in the control panel worked, screen tearing is gone!
Thank you wrongadress! I can finally enjoy KCD2 on my bigger screen, that'll be great for the Hardcore playthrough =)

You welcome, I thought you are 144Hz but glad it works anyway!
